Section of Honor: constituted by people, groups, groups or institutions, national or foreign, that have contributed of important way in services of prevention and extinction of fires and rescues of the Generalitat. Youth Section: formed by young people who, in the future, want to be volunteer firefighters. The body of volunteer firefighters of the Generalitat is structured in adsc groups rites in fire stations and is ordered, hierarchically, in the categories of officer, sergeant, corporal and firefighter. Although at present there are only firefighters and some corporals.
Each group of volunteer firefighters must have a group leader, a member of the Active Section of the volunteer fire brigade, which in the parks with the exclusive affiliation of volunteers, is also the Head of Park.
The Sant Antoni fire brigade is located in the municipality of Sant Antoni de Vilamajor, in Carrer Ferran Llach, in front of the sports pavilion in the sports area.
The Park is a newly built building and was inaugurated on 28/09/2010 by the Minister of the Interior of the Government of the Generalitat.
It has 2 floors and has an area of 375 m², distributed between garages, warehouse, dressing rooms, kitchen, bedroom, living room and control center.
The Park is equipped with materials, tools and vehicles, to cover the guards and provide assistance to services and emergencies that happen around us.
The Sant Antoni Fire Station can have a staff of 25 active firefighters and can also house veteran firefighters.
We have tools and vehicles for fire prevention and extinction and rescue. We provide the necessary training with the appropriate practices to be prepared in a rapid intervention of an accident, be it a traffic accident, floods, house fires, forest fires, etc.
The Park has three vehicles to act according to the needs of the service. The upper floor of the Park is where the housing area and theoretical training room are. There is also the Control Room, where the issue of communications of the Park with Central Control and other vehicles and firefighters is.
Place where we have the stations and telephones.
We can also control the positioning of trucks and portable transmitters in the territory.
Room where we live the guards and where we also do theoretical training.
Exterior view
The lower floor houses the changing rooms, showers, warehouse and garage, where we leave the three vehicles and the lockers with the PPE's (Personal Protective Equipment). We use the garage to do certain practices and / or training. It has a capacity for 3 heavy vehicles, but the endowment of a Park of Volunteer Firemen is of 2 trucks and 1 light vehicle with independent exit each of them.
Sant Antoni Park is equipped with 3 operating vehicles. Two vehicles are heavy trucks that carry various equipment for emergencies and the third is an all-terrain vehicle to carry equipment and personnel.
